If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have the option to reject an article before it hits your news feed, here’s your chance to say no.
If you’re one of those folks who wants to see more diversity in the press, then Polygon is here to help.
The news site has teamed up with a bunch of writers, editors, and other members of the press to create a diversity report, and it’s a great place to learn how to write a more diverse story.
The report, which we’re calling “A Diversity Report,” is a collaboration between Polygon’s content and digital teams.
It’s a report on the state of diversity in journalism.
As the title suggests, it’s focused on how much diversity we have in the news and entertainment industry, and how it compares to other industries.
“We are trying to create an industry report that gives a better sense of diversity,” said Ben Bajarin, Polygon Digital’s Head of Diversity.
“It’s not just about how much representation there is in the media, but how diverse the representation is.”
Bajarin added that the report will include data on the news industry and the people who make up that industry.
“We want to know how diverse are we as a company and a community as a whole,” he said.
“Are we doing enough to keep up with the changing times?
Do we have the right culture and training for doing it?
Is it working for us?”
As part of this report, Polyglot contributors are asked to tell us their thoughts about the diversity of their newsrooms.
This includes both “informative and direct” questions.
It will also be used to look at the kinds of diversity and representation in the industry, as well as the types of people who might be the most likely to read it.
The final report will also include a list of all the writers, producers, editors and other staff at Polygon who are currently or formerly working in the “diverse” industry, the number of stories they’ve written in that industry, how much the industry is diverse, and what types of content they’re looking for.
Bajartin said that Polyglots diversity report will be available to anyone interested in it, and that anyone who wants it can send it in to Polygon.
The team will then look through the responses to find those that have a clear bias.
“Our team is a team of people of all stripes, from people who aren’t necessarily interested in diversity, to people who are interested,” he told Polygon News.
“And we’re just looking for good, honest people, and we’re not interested in making sure everyone’s a member of the team.”
If you’re interested in the report, you can sign up to receive it here.
It’ll take some time to get to grips with the report.
“At this stage we’re a little nervous, and a little bit of a rush,” Bajartins said.
He added that this will be an “overwatch” for the content team to get things moving.
He also promised that the team will do a better job of ensuring that its results are not skewed by bias.
The Polygon team is currently seeking more input from writers and others to help them craft the report as well.
“I don’t want to just be a reporter and just be able to say, ‘Oh, I like this story,'” Bajarts said.
The focus of the report should be on how it might make the media more diverse, he added.
“I think that’s the thing that we’ll always find a balance between,” Bawartin added.
“What we’ll want to do is make sure that we have a good mix of diverse voices.
But that’s not necessarily the whole story.”
